Attitude of Gratitude

Is it just me or do you too notice more things to be grateful for these days?

Meaning, when you really take a moment to pause and think you begin to see just how blessed you really are!

And, the feeling you feel is bigger than what you feel during any holiday season.

It is simply summed up in one word: gratitude.

Recently, I had an opportunity to serve at my dad’s job.

I enjoy serving there because…

1. My dad works for a great local ministry!

2. I always learn something while I’m serving.

3. The other volunteers make it fun as well..especially my mom 😆

Well, the other day was no different.

My mom informed me I would be in my normal designated area…the produce section.

Now, I am not sure if this serving area is called the produce section.

However, that is the name I’ve chosen due to the amounts of fruit and veggies that are in this particular serving area.

While I serve, my role is to assist people while they collect as many food items they need for themselves and their families.

On this day, I started going about my usual routine: sanitizing my hands and putting on gloves.

Then, I began adjusting the shelves to make them look presentable.

And, the feeling of gratitude hit me.

I thought to myself, Man, I am really grateful.

You see, within the past year, I have experienced some losses.

At the same time, God has allowed me to experience more wins!

I went on serving that day trying to count everything God has done for me and lost count😄

Honey Bunches, what I learned that day is trying to count the blessings of God is an endless task.

Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me.

Psalms 103:2

I believe every moment we live as believers of Christ we are living in an answered prayer.

It’s more than the opportunities He blesses us to have.

It’s about how he blesses us so much that we can be a blessing to others.

I pray today’s post empowers you to maintain an attitude of gratitude. May God reveal blessings to you, even in the little things.

I know I am!
